Yes. We carry general liability insurance, as well as liquor liability insurance. We can provide copies of our insurance policies to your venue upon request. We are also licensed as a business with the State of California. It is your responsibility to secure any permits needed, but typically, if your event is held on private property, you will not need to secure any permits.

We require a flat, stable, and well-lit area for bar service setup, regardless of which bar setup is being used. Access to standard power is appreciated but not always required depending on your package and event needs. If your venue has uneven ground, limited lighting, stairs, or access restrictions, please let us know ahead of time so we can schedule a venue tour.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding season dates. Most couples book anywhere from 6–18 months in advance, though we occasionally have last-minute availability depending on the date and scope of service. Once a signed contract and retainer are received, your date is officially secured.

Yes, at this time, The Parched Poppies partners with a business in the State of California holding a valid liquor license which allows us to source alcohol for our clients. After your beverage planning call, we’ll provide a recommended shopping list with estimated quantities, along with a quote from our partner should you choose to have our team assist you with the delivery of your alcohol.
